One-Day Hunter Training Course – Efficient Preparation for Your CORE Exam
While we fully appreciate and respect the comprehensive CORE (Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education) program, we recognize that committing to two full days of in-class instruction can be challenging for many aspiring hunters—especially when the certification can be achieved through a one-hour written exam.
That's why we're now proud to offer condensed One-Day Hunter Training Courses. Led by one or two experienced, active BC hunters, these sessions guide you through the key essentials to launch your hunting journey and effectively prepare for the CORE written exam. We believe this format delivers outstanding value, condensing the most practical and relevant material from the full CORE course into a more time-efficient package—without compromising quality or preparation.
Course Highlights:
At the end of the day, a certified CORE examiner will attend to administer the official written CORE exam (included in the course fee).
One free re-test is provided if needed.
Topics Covered:
Hunting gear selection, Planning and preparing for a hunt
Hunting techniques, Firearm selection and setup
Ethical hunting practices, BC laws and regulations
This streamlined approach is ideal for busy individuals who want focused, hands-on guidance from real-world hunters while meeting provincial requirements to obtain your Fish & Wildlife ID (FWID) and start hunting responsibly in British Columbia.
